Beautiful polished stones wrapped in gold-filled or sterling silver, each one a totally unique gift from nature. The Minnesota stones I have collected and polished myself. Stones from around the world, I've purchased and polished or have been sent to me by friends.

All of my wraps are done with either 14k gold-filled wire or sterling silver. I use gold-filled because of it's sturdiness. It will not peel off like gold plating would.

If you have a stone or cabochon that you would like wrapped, I would be happy to consider the job for you. Please set the item next to a ruler or tape measure to give me an idea of the general size. Mookaite Jasper

From Western Austrailia.

Shades of purple with dendrites and a thin band of hematite add to the beauty of this stone. Mookite takes a stunning shine and is also used in knapping.

The term ‘Mookaite’ is an unofficial coined name for a silicified porcelanite which forms in the weathering profile of a geological formation known as Windalia Radiolarite.
