First introduced in 1895, a few minor changes resulted in the Savage Model 1899, a much loved and still, much used rifle. Remembering The 99 is a collection of vintage photos and postcards showcasing this now-famous gun. The author, Gary Groshel, has been collecting these photos and postcards for many years and felt it was time to share them with fellow Savage collectors and anyone who enjoys vintage photos and postcards.
